Accommodations |
Our new Amazonat River Lodge accommodates 20 guests on a double occupancy basis in spacious and comfortable rooms. Our lower deck has 8 deluxe rooms with a queen size bed or separate twin beds and a double sofa bed. On the upper deck we have 2 honeymoon suites each with a queen size bed, a double sofa bed and a large private terrace. As in Amazonat Jungle Lodge, all rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, a safe and wireless internet connection, are fully screened and have fans to keep the rooms cool. Nights, however, are cool and fresh due to the river. The acidity of the blackwater in the area inhibits mosquito larvae growth making your stay virtually mosquito free! |

Located on the upper deck, our restaurant serves food cooked on the premises. Meals are of the same high standard as in
Amazonat Jungle Lodge, always made with fresh ingredients obtained locally. Savor your meal while you enjoy a 360-degree view of the beautiful surroundings. It is also the perfect place for bird watching or catching a glimpse of the rare manatee or Pirarucu fish.

Sit back and soak in some sun while relaxing on our sundeck stretchers. These are located on the lower deck where guests also have easy access to the river for a refreshing swim.

Amazonat River Lodge’s riverside location makes this a haven for the water lover. Swimming in the crystalline amber waters of this blackwater river is safe and extremely pleasant. Kayaks will be available for paddling around or trying your fishing skills. Motorized canoes will be available for short expeditions to nearby islands or a small neighbouring indigenous community.

Floating House |
Amazonat owns a floating house in the community of Engenho, on the banks of the Amazon River. Floating House has three bedrooms currently used by guests staying overnight on the river, like those doing the Ticuan Package. Floating House is also our stopping point when transferring from Amazonat Jungle Lodge to canoes for the Amazon River tours. This is the perfect spot to refresh yourself before continuing with your adventure!
